Amanah Saham Bumiputera 2 (ASB2) unitholders will receive a dividend of 7.05 sen per unit for the financial year ending 31st March 2016. The dividend is lower than 7.5 sen dividend and 0.25 sen of special dividend paid in 2015.

The dividend will involve a total payout of RM213.07 million involving 4.4 billion units subscribed by 159,480 unit holders.
As of 18th March 2016, ASB2 recorded a gross income of RM228.72 million, of which income from the sale of shares contributed RM101.81 million, or 44.5 per cent.
Dividend income from investment in companies contributed RM87.97 million or 38.5%, while the remaining RM38.94 million was derived from other income including sukuk and fixed deposits.
The income distribution and bonus would be automatically credited into the respective unitholder’s account. Unitholders could update their accounts beginning 1st April 2016 at ASNB branches or agents nationwide.
The calculation of the income distribution is based on the average monthly minimum balance held throughout the financial year of ASB 2.
All ASB2 transactions will be suspended starting from 23rd to 31st March 2016 to facilitate the calculation of income distribution and bonus.
